Help Get Bibles in West Africa

Do you want to help with creating bibles for people groups who have never had the Word of God in their languages

Paul and Grace Closius, missionaries supported by SOJ, went to Ghana a couple of years ago and worked with the Ghana Institute of Linguistics, Literacy and Bible Translation (GILLBT). GILLBT has requested that the Closius' coworker and good friend, John Sidsaya, go to South Africa to receive specialized training in Desk Top Publishing of Bibles.

This opportunity is an answer to prayer for Mr. Sidsaya and the GILLBT.

He has received a majority of the funds for his trip and training through Ghanian Churches and other sources, but still needs about $600 for training.  He knows God will provide.

John Sidsaya states:
“I would appreciate prayer for wisdom and funds for further training in Desk Top Publishing Specialization.  There are still numerous projects in West Africa - representing more than a million people - that need Bibles and New Testaments typeset.  They often struggle to get visas to travel to the US or England to have their work typeset there. My training would help reduce this kind of frustration and expense on translation projects. “

If you are willing to contribute to this training, any amount is not small, you can send your tax deductible donation to:
PO Box 628200, Orlando, FL-32862-8200,
With a note: “for John Sidsaya training, Ghana.”
